A Time For Change

A radical change must begin today. Not only to change the point of view the past has inflicted upon us but to also change the standard of living we are creating for the future. There is a simple answer: simply to no longer categorize humanity. Ethnicity, religion, even sexual orientation must be diminished. For they are useless and only false illusions. It is a way that only disintegrates humanity. It separates the masses. Racism, discrimination, and sexism are products of this action. Why should ethnicity matter, if we all sleep on the same earth. Why should religion matter, if all we need is love. Why should sexual orientation matter, if any human that is capable of having the freedom to love is perfect. I am not proposing that we stop believing in what we already do or to stop loving who we love, I am only proposing that we no longer separate humans because of these factors. If the mind was able to adapt to an environment of titles I do not see why it can not adapt to an environment of freedom.

Expect A New Beginning

We are experiencing interesting times. What most see as a crisis I see as a grand opportunity.

Sometimes things must get worse before they get better. If we were to never reach the bottom we would never be inclined to reach the new heights. If we were to never experience anger we would never be motivated to love.

The economy is fragile. Countless amounts of people are losing their employment. Businesses are breaking. Human rights are being violated with a certain Prop 8 that inexplicably passed. A war with no honest initiative seems far from over. If this was not enough, new wars and riots are rising all over the world. But above it all, let us ask ourselves one question; what could be worse? In all honesty this question is not a sardonic one. Truly, what could be worse?

Despite all doubts, I remain optimistic. This perhaps is my biggest genius; optimism. Left and right remain pessimistic.

In 1346, The Black Death erupted. It became contained in 1353. It killed approximately 74 million people. The Hundred Years’ War came along (1337-1453). Within this war countless of revolts occurred. (I will not go in detail about this war because we are living proof of what a war is like). In 1378, The Great Schism occurred. Three popes, each claiming they were the chosen one.

Things could not get worse. And they did not. They only got better. In the late 1300s, the Renaissance came to life. People in search of new hope. People beginning to search deep inside themselves.

Things sometimes get worse before they get better. If anything, we should be grateful these events are taking place. Sure they are hectic and stressful but they cannot get worse.

New advancements will come. We are now aware of the necessary change. Maybe we needed these events to let the world acknowledge this.

These events are not pleasant ones. Hence, people will turn towards those that are because we have reached the bottom, we can now reach for the top. Let us all show the universe our unquestionable potential of love, compassion, and power.

A Possibility

There exists the possibility of love and happiness in this world we live in.

As we take a look back at history we might observe that our wars, our crusades, all our conflicts for that sake are the result of division. There was the individual, the group, the community who deemed itself of too good of quality for the other.

There exists the fallacy, even in our time, that one should own more human rights then others. Our logic is that if it does not pertain to us it does not matter.

We judge based on race, religion, preferences and just about anything that does not appeal to us or does not fit into out level of conformity.

Habits are hard to break, we can all agree on that, but what if we actually dare give it an opportunity? What if for once we dared try and break free our disastrous attachments? In doing this there might just exist the possibility of freedom and all its gracious fruits.

Let us stop to ponder over this for just one moment.

Let us pose the question once again: what if I made it a habit to be free? A habit of not creating habits. This in return would bring us unity and freedom.

Can you just imagine the endless possibilities that would bring. Abundance of love and happiness, that is what it would bring; a life no longer dependent on hate, greed, and gossip in order to provide life itself with significance.

We would finally be giving ourselves the gift of living. That, which is our highest purpose here on earth. Let go of the titles, the chains. Just let go. Break free and begin a new life.

 A Titleless World

What a more united, tolerant, and loving world this would be if we were to destroy the titles of the world.

Our current resentments are the left overs of our ancestral division. We seem to not be mentally independent enough to find all the illogical fallacies in this our cultural establishment. The philosophies we claim to be ours are not such. We just so happen to adopt these philosophies full of titles along our path just like we unconsciously chose to adapt our speech and mannerisms.

We recent our former countries for having ever applied some sort of caste system and to compensate we hide our prejudice and the titles within under a rug termed democracy. We deem ourselves democratic because we participate in voting someone else’s human and civil rights into disappearance.

Titles are neither a necessary evil nor are they a necessary anything. The masses are for the most part the biggest whorers of titles. Of course they see fit to blame governments for our global conflicts. Let’s remind ourselves that we make up a nation. The logic is this; governments are the only ones who care not for labels. For you see, all they see is the color green. And no, not eco-green. We, though, implement our beliefs into the global culture. We crucify unity and freedom then dare walk around preaching rights for everyone.

This is not meant to scold but rather to open eyes and diminish bigotry.

Titles are unnecessary divisions. Titles entrap you into a medieval mentality. A self-centered mentality that will not allow you to grow to your maximum potential.

Put yourself in the present, letting go of the past and future, and you will realize that all that built up resentment and prejudice does not pertain to you in the minimum. They are mere illusions. The necessary tools used by predators aiming to divide and conquer.

Just ask yourself one question, am I willing to conquer or unite for the sake of my life and those many to come?

We are history in the making. What kind of chapter do we wish to leave behind? Do we wish to leave an oppressive chapter like those some much abhorred? Or, do we wish to leave behind a chapter of grandiosity that will be admired and unrelieved by those to come?

We hold the key to our freedom, let us use it. Let us create a golden age.
